Vegetable Seeds – Climbing French Bean Hunter is an RHS award-winning variety that produces abundant crops of bright green, white-seeded, almost stringless beans.

Bean Hunter combines the dependable heavy harvest of runner beans with the tenderness and reliability of traditional French Beans, Hunter French beans have become a staple in many British vegetable plots.

The beans grow to about 12 inches (30 cm) long.

The plants grow well both under protection and outdoors, and can be inter-planted with peas and runner beans.

Like all French beans, this variety freezes well.

They’re also great for drying and using as haricot beans. And of course, they taste great both raw and cooked.

These are a climbing bean, so make sure to provide them a trellis, canes, or other support.

Vegetable Seeds – Climbing French Bean Borlotta Lingua Di Fuoco produces great crops of beans with an excellent flavour, eye-catching colour and are super-versatile.

These decorative beans can be picked and used fresh or left to grow on.

Mature beans can be shelled from the pods and dried, prepared and served as dried flageolet or cannellini.

Lingua di Fuoco literally translates as Tongue of Fire and can be eaten young in the pod, either raw or cooked, or they can be shelled and used like a flageolet bean, or shelled and dried.

The beautiful red speckling disappears when cooked.

Vegetable Seeds – Dwarf French Bean Faraday produces masses of pencil shaped, green beans with an excellent flavour and texture.

Faraday also has excellent disease-resistance and is perfectly suited to raised beds or containers.

For many reasons, Enorma is a real grower’s favourite whether grown yourself at home or as a commercial grower.

This variety produces masses of exhibition-quality pods of up to 50cm (20″) in length, from July to October.

Also freezes very well!
