Fruit Seeds – Chilli Pepper Hungarian Black is an heirloom variety that produces stout 60cm (24in) plants ladened with 8cm (3in) Jalapeno-shaped fruits which ripen from black to red with a gorgeous medium heat.
Hungarian Black produces medium heat fruits – Scoville Heat Units 5,000 to 10,000
This variety is visually remarkable being a tall, upright plant with purple-veined foliage that produces attractive purple flowers.

Best results are achieved in a greenhouse with occasional feeding.
