Gardeners Delight Cherry Tomato Plant. Produces long trusses of bit-sized fruits known for their sweet flavour and explosive juiciness.

This cordon (produces vines) cherry tomato plant variety has long been a fantastic favourite due to it being very easy to grow and its trusses of particularly flavoursome, bite-sized cherry tomatoes.

Gardeners Delight is ideal for adding to salads, pizzas, salsas, sauces and sandwiches.

Gardeners Delight is reliable and prolific whether grown outdoors in a sheltered sunny spot or in the greenhouse.

A real treat when picked and eaten straight from the plant as a snack!

Description

Plant care

Water cherry tomato plants frequently to keep the compost evenly moist.

Feed tomatoes regularly with a high potash plant food once the first trusses of fruit have formed.

Tie the main stems to their supports and remove any side shoots that develop between the main stem and the leaf stems.

Once the plant has produced 6 or 7 trusses, pinch out the top of the main stem.

This process of side shooting and stopping will increase the availability of light and air movement around the developing fruit, and focus the plant’s energy on producing a good crop of high-quality fruits.

Tomatoes can be harvested as they ripen from July to October.
