Floribunda Rose “Belle de Jour” won the Rose of the year award for 2021. Produces peach-tinted, warm yellow blooms non-stop for several months from midsummer, this gorgeous Rose also has an excellent resistance to disease.
The blooms can grow up to 7cm across, and they have a strong, vanilla-like perfume.
They also last really well when cut for the vase. Forming a a low bushy shrub, it makes a handsome addition to the border, and could also be used to create a low hedge.
Floribunda Rose “Sweet Honey” was voted Rose of the Year 2020, the large clusters (typically 12-15 per stem) of well-scented, soft apricot blooms really caught the judges’ eyes.
They were also impressed with its strong bushy growth, glossy green foliage and resistance to disease.
A stunning floribunda, with hybrid tea-like flowers (which are excellent for cutting), this rose will make a hard-working addition to the border.
It looks stunning when used to create a low, informal hedge, and can even be potted and placed on a sunny patio.
Hybrid Tea Rose “A Whiter Shade of Pale” is a relatively compact Rose that shows an excellent resistance to disease. From midsummer on, produces exquisitely formed blush pink flowers.
A recipient of the prestigious RHS AGM, it will make a great addition to the garden, while the flowers will also look wonderful in the vase.
Floribunda Rose “Many Happy Returns” is a compact, spreading small shrub with fine glossy greyish-green foliage and fragrant, pale blush-pink, semi-double flowers from summer to autumn followed by orange-red hips in autumn.
Floribunda Rose “Golden Wedding” is a bushy, upright Rose with slightly fragrant, cupped, Hybrid Tea-style deep yellow flowers 9cm wide, from summer to autumn.
Floribunda or Cluster-flowered bush Roses are bushy, upright shrubs with dark, glossy, foliage and single or double, sometimes fragrant flowers in small or large clusters from summer to autumn.
“Birthday Girl” is a small flowering Floribunda Rose. Cream edged carmine pink blooms are produced in abundance throughout the flowering period.
Lightly fragranced blooms. Glossy medium green foliage.
This rose can be grown in a pot or at the front of a border. Looks stunning grown as a small rose hedge. Ideal as a birthday present for that special person.
Good disease resistance. Hardy. Grows to approximately 90cm – 35in high.
Viburnum Tinus – ‘Eve Tinus’ is a bushy, medium-sized evergreen shrub with broadly oval, leathery dark green leaves and, from late winter, flattened clusters of deep pink buds opening to small, starry white flowers.
Berries are deep metallic-blue.
