Vegetable Seeds – Climbing French Bean Blue Lake is a heritage variety dating from 1885 that produces heavy yields of long and thin, stringless pods with a superb sweet flavour.
Blue Lake reliably produces legumes over a long period thought the season.
The mid-green coloured pods are best picked when 10-12cm long & used fresh.
The older pods can be dried and the beans used as haricot beans.

A real favourite in Italian cuisine, Chicory is usually eaten grilled with olive oil, or mixed into dishes such as risotto.
It can also be served with pasta, or be used in strudel, as a poultry stuffing or an ingredient in tapenade.

Chicory’s roots, after roasting and grinding, can be used as a coffee substitute or coffee additive.

Salad Seeds – Radish China Rose is a traditional winter-hardy variety that produces long, tapering roots with vivid rosy pink skins with crisp, pure white flesh.
China Rose has a distinctive, spicy taste that adds great flavour and texture to salads.
The leaves can also be added to salads and stir fries.
Radishes grow well in pots, planters and borders if you’re short on space.
