Description
Sorbus aucuparia Cardinal Royal, known as Cardinal Royal Rowan, was bred in America as an urban tree ideal for gardens and municipal areas. The original tree now stands at 12 metres tall by 6 metres wide and its uniform pyramidal habit requires little or no maintenance.
Clusters of spring white flowers give rise to bunches of small red berries that are a favourite of birds in the autumn. Its green summer foliage turns to yellow, sometimes orange, at leaf fall.
