There are many types of mint including, Applemint, Water Mint, Horsemint, Pineapple Mint, Orange Mint and Spearmint

Apart from Peppermint, Spearmint is probably the most widely used species of Mint. It is not as strong as Peppermint in flavour and is therefore great in cooking or added as a garnish to dishes

Grow in any moist soil, in any situation. Mint can be very invasive, so restrict root run by planting in a deep container and burying if required
