Conifer Crypt Gold Promise

Description

Cryptomeria japonica ‘Golden Promise’ is an exiting newer selection of Japanese cedar. It’s structure is very similar to Vilmoriniana with a notable difference. In spring the fresh push of new growth is bright yellow, maturing to a rich gold. Typical rate of growth in most areas is around 1 inch (2.5 cm) a year, resulting in a golden globe 12 inches (30 cm) tall and wide after ten years in the garden.
