Podocarpus x ‘Red Embers’, from the alpine regions of New Zealand, displays unusual colouring of orange and reddish shades in its new shoots fading to green and bronze by autumn and plum to maroon colours in winter after the first hard frosts. Height 90cm x Spread 90cm (3ft x 3ft) approx. in 10 years.
