Vegetable Seeds – Onion Rijnsburger is a superb Dutch variety that produces large, uniform globular bulbs with a strong flavour ideal for many culinary uses raw and cooked.
Rijnsburger benefits from high yields of quality golden-skinned onions with solid white flesh and stores exceptionally well in the correct environment.

Vegetable Seeds – Parsnip Hollow Crown is a very productive variety and one of the oldest. Produces long tapered roots with wide shoulders, white skin and well-textured, sweet flesh.
This variety does, however, need well draining, stone-free, deep soil or compost for the best results.
Avoid sowing in freshly manured areas.

Salad Seeds – Leaf Corn Salad Vit – Lambs Lettuce is a small, dark green, leafed vegetable with a nutty flavour and soft texture that makes a tasty addition to winter salads.
Leaf Corn Salad Vit is a vigorous variety best suited to winter, spring and autumn crops.
It has clearly veined leaves, has a distinct minty flavour and is resistant to powdery mildew.
Most commonly know in the UK lamb’s lettuce is a relibale, easy to grow salad item.
Not recommended for summer production as the plants tend to go to seed fairly quickly in warm weather.
Winter crops should be under a cloche, fleece or in a polytunnel.
Harvest by picking a few leaves from each plant to keep them producing more leaves.
Grows well in pots, planters and borders.
It’s very quick and easy to grow and can be eaten as a micro-green, baby leaf or left to mature.

Vegetable Seeds – Sweet Corn Earlibird F1 is the earliest and most reliable of the super-sweet varieties, delivering great yields of quality cobs filled to the tip with kernels bursting with fantastic flavour.
Earlibird F1 is an RHS Award-winning variety that produces approximately 20cm in length, with 16 rows of well-formed, small grains per cob.

One of the best known and most popular varieties available, Beetroot Boltardy produces good yields of deep red, globe shaped roots with a superb sweet flavour and tender, ring free flesh.
This variety is bolt-resistant making it ideal for early sowings.
Perfect for roasting, pickling and slicing for salads, the baby leaves can also be eaten throughout the season in salads.

Vegetable Seeds – Endive Pancalieri is a fantastic Frisée type lettuce-like favourite with a slightly more bitter, more flavourful taste.
Performs well throughout the year producing finely serrated green leaves with a crispy, white coloured heart and ribs.
Frisee types have curled, often deeply dissected leaves, while scarole types have broader leaves.
